Residents are being warned to batten down the hatches and brace themselves for a cold, wet and windy week across the Vega Baja. Forecasters are predicting 100 litres per square metre of rain to fall over the next few days. Electrical storms and high winds of up to 6o km/h are also predicted. The inclement weather is set to blight the area until the weekend.
