An Elche woman who lost an envelope containing €500 has had it returned, after it was found by a good Samaritan. The woman who found the envelope in the street called the police to report that there was a wad of cash in an envelope lying in the street but no documentation to identify the owner. The owner had dropped it on her way to the bank and had also reported the loss to the police. The two women met for the first time at the police station where the owner was able to make her ‘thank yous’ in person.
