A 39-year-old Irish man has been arrested for a vicious attack outside an Irish pub in Valencia. The 26-year-old Argentinian victim was walking with a friend and pushing his bicycle. The bike accidentally bumped into the Irishman who had just come out of the bar and the Argentinian apologised immediately. However, eyewitnesses said the attacker grabbed a glass and slashed the victim’s throat without saying a word. He later claimed to police that the bicycle owner had pushed him, and he resorted to getting hold of a glass in self-defence.
