CSIF union members gathered in front of the Torrevieja Post Office to protest the lack of postal workers in the city. According to the union, ‘of the 23 workers, 10 are on long-term leave and their positions are not being covered’. The CSIF explained that the situation causes “high doses of stress” among the workers which affects their health and causes additional sick leave that further complicates the situation.
