A fire at a Los Montesinos farm spread to several pine trees, scrub, cuttings and part of an irrigation booth, according to reports from the Provincial Fire Department Consortium. The blaze started at 6am and took fire crews more than six hours to extinguish as they battled to stop it spreading through the open land. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
