Newly installed intelligent traffic signals are already working to increase road safety at some points of Torrevieja, according to the Councillor for Local Police, Mobility and Traffic. The signs, which work with solar panels, have been placed in different locations. The light signals that are activated through sensors when they detect the presence of a car – offering the driver the necessary warnings, either numerically or with icons.
