Volunteers from the Torrevieja Civil Protection are distributing blankets, sleeping bags, coats, as well as hot drinks and pastries, to the homeless in the city. The initiative aims to help reduce the effects of the current cold snap and is being coordinated by the Spanish Red Cross.
