Two men aged 22 and 30, both with considerable criminal records, have been arrested for the recent shooting in Catral. They are charged with attempted murder, causing injuries and illegal possession of weapons. The shooting happened after two cars collided and the occupants of one car attacked those in the other. One man was shot in the other hit with the butt of a gun before the attackers fled the scene. The accused appeared in Elche Court and were remanded in custody without bail.
