A man who poisoned his co-worker at a metal factory in Elche has been charged with attempted murder. The 51-yer-old is accused of pouring ammonia and solvent into a water bottle that had his colleagues name on it following work-related arguments. Workers told police that as soon as the man drank from the bottle, he became unwell. Tests confirmed that toxins had been added to the water. The man was rushed to hospital but discharged several days later.
