The Civil Guard is investigating an alleged attempted murder in Catral. The incident happened after two cars collided at exit 730 of the AP7 at the Catral-Crevillente roundabout. Two people got out of one car and went towards the occupants of the other, shooting one in the leg and hitting the other with the butt of a hand-gun before fleeing the scene. The victims are two men of North African origin who were transferred to the Hospital del Vinalopó, but luckily their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
