The Director of Cáritas has said that since the pandemic the number of families who come to ask for help has increased considerably. Something that has been heightened even more due to inflation. Many of these people are working, but when the middle of the month arrives, they run out of money and they aren’t able to eat. What people ask for the most is food, and the parishes are now distributing food to some 300 families.
