Compensation For Ambulance Delay Death

A family in Mazarron has been awarded 74,000 euros in compensation after a wait of two hours for an ambulance led to the death of a 52-year-old man. The pay-out was made by the Murcian Health Service and followed a case presented by the Patient Advocate Association on behalf of the family. The incident happened in September 2020 following a 112 call to the emergency services.
