The Regional Minister for Health wants people to be responsible and wear face masks in certain situations to reduce hospital admissions through the winter months. The Minister believes that wearing masks in enclosed areas or around vulnerable people such as the old, the young and the ill, would make a considerable difference. Currently, flu, bronchitis and general chest and respiratory infections are all increasing across the region.
