The Ministry of Universal Health and Public Health has notified a total of 910 new cases of coronavirus confirmed by PCR test or through antigen tests since the last update last Friday. It must be noted however that this week the figures are published on Thursday on account of the holiday, and would therefore otherwise be higher than reported. The new cases by provinces are 143 in Castellón (196,983 in total), 216 in Alicante (537,223 in total), 550 in Valencia (856,746 in total) and 1 unassigned.
Of these, 530 are people over 60 years of age. By provinces: 75 from Castellón, 152 from Alicante, 302 from Valencia and 1 unassigned.
Valencian hospitals currently have 168 people admitted, 7 of them in the ICU: 25 in the province of Castellón, 3 in the ICU; 32 in the province of Alicante, 1 of them in the ICU, and 111 in the province of Valencia, 3 in the ICU.
8 deaths from coronavirus have been reported since the last update, all with a date of death in the last 7 days. They are 4 women, between 67 and 93 years old, and 4 men between 72 and 92 years old. The total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic amounts to 10,467: 1,268 in the province of Castellón, 3,969 in Alicante and 5,230 in Valencia.
