The wintery gales, rain and plummeting temperatures of recent weeks will give way to much warmer weather this weekend. Aemet, the state meteorological agency, is forecasting temperatures of around 10 degrees warmer than is usual for this time of year. The mercury has been rising all week, with Wednesday hitting 26.1 degrees in Alicante city, however Saturday is predicted to top the chart at 32 degrees across the Vega Baja.
