Pablo Samper, candidate for Mayor and head of Sueña Torrevieja, has publicly presented an ambitious project for the remodelling of Parque de la Estación, which includes the areas next to the Acequión canal and the Alzheimer’s headquarters. The revamp would see 40,000 square metres of new green spaces, playgrounds, areas for family leisure and for the elderly, as well as the restoration of the skateboard park and the creation of an underground car park. The redesign is also aimed to support and improve the bar and leisure area nearby and would include a dedicated exercise and fitness space.
