Civil Guard officers have arrested a nursing home carer of fraud for using the bank cards of a deceased resident. Police were alerted by the family of a 90-year-old British man over a number of financial irregularities found when going through his estate. They discovered that, days after his death, transactions worth more than 6,000 euros had been carried out on-line. Investigations led to a 41-year-old Spanish woman who worked at the Vega Baja care home.
