National Police officers, in a joint operation with EUROPOL, have dismantled a criminal gang of migrant traffickers, moving people between Algeria and the province of Alicante. The gang transferred migrants, including minors, charging nearly 6,000 euros per person. Six people have been arrested, five in Orihuela and one in Tudela. Police believe that the 88 Algerian migrants identified would have brought the organisation profits of more than 350,000 euros.
