Staff at Torrevieja Hospital will go on strike at Easter following on vote with more than half of staff in favour of the action. Workers are protesting against the Ministry of Health which intends to change a collective agreement made by the workers with former management company Ribera Salud. Before the meeting there was a demonstration, where the staff showed their disgust at this latest abuse of their trust whilst trying to maintain a public service under virtually impossible working conditions.
