It is quite possible that we are now starting to see the effects of the withdrawal of the mask mandate on public transport in Spain, as Covid infections increase again.

This week, an additional 7,380 infections were confirmed amongst the small group of the population being tested, bringing the total number of infections to 13,763,336. Last week, there were an additional 7,038 infections, according to the confirmed data from the Ministry of Health.

There have also been another 194 deaths from Covid in Spain this week, bringing the total now to 119,380 people who have lost their lives as a result of Covid.
