The social kitchen ‘Alimentos Solidarios Torrevieja’ closed 2022 with an increase in both the number of users and in the number of meals distributed to those in need. In 2021 the charity delivered 23,934 meals rising to nearly 50,000 meals in 2022. The numbers have skyrocketed since the start of the Ukrainian war. In total, up to 198 Ukrainian families with 619 people are being supported.
