The final piece of paperwork needed before the expansion work can begin at the Vega Baja Hospital has been issued – and the go-ahead for the granting of the environmental license and the works license has been given. The extension will increase the surface area of the hospital by 40 percent, thanks to an investment of 62.5 million euros by the Generalitat.
