Police in Orihuela are investigating an alleged attempted child abduction. It is claimed that two men driving along the old Bigastro road in a van tried to trick an eight-year-old girl into the vehicle. Luckily the girl screamed and ran, despite the men lying that they knew her parents and she should climb in. Her mother called the police as soon as the girl returned home, but no witnesses or the van was located.
