The Valencian Government has awarded a tender to a technology company to allow people’s SIP Card’s to be carried virtually on their mobile phone. This will let people access medical care and prescriptions without having to carry or show the physical card. It is believed that the 2-million-euro project will see the company create a bespoke, easy to use app that will reduce the loss or theft of SIP Cards and allow for them to be renewed virtually.
