A man will appear in court in Elche today (Tuesday 31st) accused of attempted murder following an argument in a bar in Orihuela. It is alleged the man punched another in the face during the row. Later the victim went to the man’s house to ask for an explanation for the attack. The man opened the door armed with a gun and fired three times, he also attacked the victim with a 25 centimetre knife. The man only survived due to the fast response of paramedics and took several months to recover.
