A suitcase with 1.8 kilos of cocaine has been discovered at Alicante-Elche Airport. Security staff became suspicious as the bag was routinely scanned and found it had a false bottom concealing the drugs. The case had a ‘high priority’ label and was not accompanied by a passenger. However, a police investigation led to the arrested of a 29-year-old Brazilian man the following day.
