Fourteen people are in court today (Tuesday 24th) in Elche, accused of drug trafficking in the Torrevieja area. During the police operation raids were carried out on four homes in Torrevieja and one in Orihuela, where different quantities of drugs, equipment for preparing them and money from their sale were seized. In two of the houses, officers found two handguns. The Prosecution is asking for eight-year prison sentences for the crimes.
