Four people have been arrested, accused of a drug-related kidnapping in Callosa de Segura. The investigations began in April of last year when a Moroccan man reported the crime. He told officers that four men had kidnapped him and that he had been starved and beaten for four days. Whilst transferring him to an address in El Campello, he managed to escape and go to the police. Three of the four arrested were sent straight to prison and the gang is said to have links to the Italian mafia.
