The Ministry for Ecological Transition has declared that both solar farms planned for Torremendo would have an ‘unfavourable environmental impact’. Published in the Official State Gazette the Directorate concludes that the “project will foreseeably cause significant adverse impacts on the landscape and its environmental values, especially on the protected landscape of Sierra Escalona and its surroundings.”
