A gang of robbers has been arrested in Santa Pola for a string of house break-ins across the Alicante Province. Two of the gang members were on a day release programme from prison and would return to the institution every night! The gang has initially been charged with four robberies in Santa Pola and Guardamar, but officers believe they could be responsible for more than twenty crimes in Torrevieja and Orihuela Costa.
