A prototype robot to help look after people has been introduced by Alicante town hall. Designed by local business Bumerani, the robot called Temi, uses artificial intelligence and new technology to understand gestures, emotions, body language and behaviour, according to a council spokesman. The initiative will be trialled with housing project residents in the city.
