Elche is spending one million euros to improve people’s quality of life. More than fifty social groups and bodies will be allocated grants to facilitate social initiatives. The Councillor said the groups ‘cohesion, coordination and good joint work is a reflection of a participatory society involved in solving the needs, problems and uncertainty of the entire population of this town in general.’
