A house fire in Alborán street, Torrevieja, is thought to have started in a room where a washing machine and tumble dryer were kept. The flames and smoke spread quickly, and firefighters were called to extinguish the flames and ventilate the rooms of the house. The elderly owners of the house were home at the time of the fire but were able to get outside and were unhurt.
