Torrevieja salt plant, one of the largest in Spain, is all set to keep Europe motoring this winter. Around 300,000 tonnes of maritime salt are to be shipped to the UK, Ireland and the Nordic Countries. The first shipment of around 40,000 tonnes is already on its way to combat the first snowstorms of the season, which have hit England and Scotland particularly hard.
