Almost 38 people have died from Covid in Spain every day this week, bringing the weekly death toll to 264 people.
In total, so far, 118,976 people have lost their lives from Covid in Spain.
This is according to the latest data published by the Ministry of Health on Friday 10 February.
The infection tally has also increased by 8,387, bringing the total number of Covid infections in Spain to 13,748,918.
This week, considering the “favourable” situation, the decision was made that masks are no longer mandatory on public transport, but must still be worn in health settings, including pharmacies.
Despite the removal of the mask mandate on public transport, the Government still maintains the advice to continue wearing a mask in enclosed or busy places.
